We now have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Your Next Opportunity:

As our next Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in the development of new business by providing expert advice to industry professionals (e.g. architects and engineers) on coating solutions for their projects in the North Island. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Writing specifications for fireproofing and corrosion on steel, as well as other coatings solutions for concrete surfaces
• Working alongside our team of technical sales representatives to provide your expertise and help drive sales
• Conducting presentations on the suitability and efficacy of Altex coatings to architects and engineers

What You'll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this role, you’ll need strong technical knowledge in the coatings space and the ability to learn technical specifications quickly and accurately.

You will primarily be engaging with clients, so you will have great stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds.

You will:

• Have comprehensive experience creating and editing technical documents and plans
• Be passionate about and have an aptitude for technical information
• Be motivated to work toward and exceed KPIs
• Have the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while showing attention to detail
• Show strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be a motivated self-starter that is able to function in a team or individual environment
